CDL Testing Locations in Arkansas

Truck driving is an exciting career which is appealing to many people looking for new careers in this down economy. Part of its attraction is the diversity it offers, and the fact it is stable and generally unaffected by economic changes. Truck driving is the perfect career choice for someone of an adventurous bent who cannot stand the thought of being tied down to a routine job.

The first step in becoming a truck driver is to earn a Commercial Driver License (CDL). The CDL is you ticket to starting a career as a truck driver as it is required to drive big rigs and trailers. To obtain your CDL, you must visit a CDL testing location in Arkansas and pass a written knowledge test and a skills driving test. To prepare yourself for the CDL licensing test, we recommend applying for one of our truck  driving schools in Arkansas.

A Commercial Driver License (CDL) test is in two parts – one written and the other practical. The written exam can be taken at any of the Arkansas state troop headquarters as seen below. The locations in bold are the only locations that offer the CDL skills test.
